Agency Settings

Overview

Suppliers and partners can utilize the skills of marketing agencies even when the supplier does not use Campaign Marketplace or Funds Management. Suppliers define agencies in ZiftMarcom. Partners can then select agencies to allow full access or limited access to manage marketing tasks such campaigns and activities. Agencies can access Zift123 to service partner accounts when partners grant either Full Access or On Behalf Of access to their accounts.

When agencies have access, the partner still has the same level of access as before adding the agency. The agency is granted permission in addition to the partner. To fully appreciate this, consider that the agency will have access to send emails and needs to consider email and contact list best practices especially for opt-in permissions.

Agencies with Full Access 

Access Zift123 accounts for partners that have granted the agency full access. Full access does not include access to manage other agencies on behalf of the partner. Full access includes the following:

  • Access to all tabs - Campaigns, Social Media, Collateral, Contacts, Analytics, and Settings.
  • View lists of partners that they work with and the level of access granted.
  • View, sort, and filter by the supplier.
  • Search for partners.
  • View, sort, and filter by agency access level.
  • Use a combination of the agency's and partner's contacts for campaign execution.
  • Receive a notification that a partner has selected the agency.

Full access can be granted to a single agency at any given time.

Agencies with Limited On Behalf Of Access

This access allows the agency to create and execute a campaign or activity on behalf of the partner. The management of the campaign happens inside the agency's own Zift123 account. This allows the agency to use their own contacts and lists without exposing the details to the partner. Additionally, agencies can use partner-provided lists without having visibility into the individual contacts in the list. All leads generated by the campaign will be shared with the partner, regardless of list source.

Agencies with limited/On Behalf Of Access can:

  • View, sort, and filter by the supplier.
  • Search for partners.
  • View, sort, and filter by agency access level.
  • Use a combination of the agency's and partner's contacts for campaign execution.
  • Receive a notification that a partner has selected the agency.

Multiple agencies can be granted this permission at the same time.

You can do the following in the Agencies setting:

  • Search the list of available agencies to locate an agency. 
  • Select an agency to see it's full profile: agency name, logo, address, description, and suppliers.

Grant an agency access to your Zift123 account.

How to Grant an Agency Access to your Zift123 Account

The Agencies are divided into My Agencies and Available Agencies. If the agency has been granted access to the account, it will appear under My Agencies. If the agency is recommended by the supplier, it will appear in the Available Agencies section.

  1. From Settings, select Agencies.
  2. From the Action column, select the gear drop-down.
  3. Select either Grant Full Account Access, Grant On Behalf of Access, or Remove Access.
  4. In the Agency Permission window, select to Continue or Cancel.
  5. When the agency permission is changed a notification is sent to the partner. Partner Access Modified notifications are sent for these reasons:
    1. when an agency is granted OBO access.
    2. when an agency is granted Full Access.
    3. when an agency is promoted from OBO to Full Access.
    4. when an agency is demoted from Full to OBO access.
    5. when Full access is removed for an agency.
    6. when OBO access is removed for an agency.

This is an example of the notification.
